Hiring! Sales & Customer Service Executive

We are looking for the next member of our growing team. This person will support Cloud Picker Coffee's business objectives via direct communication with partners and customers, providing support to partners helping them choose the right products for our expanding needs.

This role would ideally suit someone who is a people pleaser and problem solver. You love interacting with people on any medium - face-to-face, email, text, video or other. A passion for exploring and owning new product lines would be of an advantage to the successful applicant and best achieved by keeping your finger on the pulse of all things relevant to the specialty coffee industry. Sound and confident use of computer literacy skills is a must, including the ability to adapt to saas offerings. 

In all, we are looking for a strong team member who wants to play a significant role in our expanding business.

  • Work with Sales Manager to deliver an ever improving offering to our partners by researching and sourcing the very-best and newest products and services on market
  • Provide verbal insight on customer growth that explains the data results
  • Assist with or provide direct response for escalating issues and troubleshooting. Take ownership of technical issues by liaising with engineers and ensuring follow ups
  • Present and showcase Cloud Picker Coffee as adaptive to clients developing needs
  • Work in conjunction with service engineers and barista trainers with regard to current and potential account activities
  • Champion upkeep and regular weekly maintenance of partners equipment
  • Manual input of cross system orders into Shopify 
  • Liaising with couriers
  • Some manual handling and upkeep of retail products and storage spaces
  • Focus on growing and developing existing partners accounts
  • To support Sales Manager with management of installations of new business wins and providing thorough briefing for the service engineers
  • Provide support to the Sales Manager in offering solution based sales for potential partners
  • Track and trace new products to market and update Sales Manager on their benefits to Cloud Picker Coffee
  • Track and trace competition vendors
  • Manage and update the partner orders portal 
  • Understand and offer thorough planning for all partners
  • Identify future Cloud Picker Coffee and partner needs
  • Forecast and track key partner metrics to support the Roasting Manager's targeted buying projections
  • Review and update product pricing, working to provide RRP margin, and wholesale margin
  • Order retail stock for online store and partners in an efficient and timely manner
  • Maintain stock take of our green/reusable bucket inventory
  • Ability to cooperate, support other members of the team involved in the process
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to interact daily with customers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds
  • Must be comfortable working independently and making minor decisions without direct supervision but always considering how decisions will impact the team
  • Great sense of organisation and keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of customer service best practises
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced working environment
  • 2 + years of customer service or sales experience preferred
  • Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with Speciality Coffee desirable but not essential 
  • Knowledge of Specialty Coffee equipment desirable but not essential
  • Drivers licence desirable but not essential
