Other technical skills of a barista include:

• Latte art
• Pour over / filter coffee brewing knowledge
• Maintenance and cleaning of grinders and espresso machines
• Maintenance of equipment, particularly very regular cleaning of grinders, is essential to keeping cup quality high and off-flavours at bay.
