We're looking for a Full-time and Part-time Production Assistant/Barista to join the Cloud Picker team and help keep our roastery running at its best! 


Cloud Picker Coffee is a market-leading specialty coffee roasting company based in Dublin, Ireland, and we're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Production Assistant/Barista to support the daily flow of our roastery, from packing and dispatching coffee to pulling a great shot for our takeaway customers.


In this role, you'll be a key player in our daily operations, keeping production moving, our workspace in top shape, and quality front and centre. You'll work alongside the Roastery Manager to make sure every bag that leaves Cloud Picker meets our standard, and every customer at the counter gets a proper cup. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone self-driven, curious, and eager to grow with our craft.

Position: Production Assistant/Barista (Full-time & Part-time)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Reports to: Roastery Manager


Responsibilities:


General


  • Grind and pack roasted coffee in an organised manner.
  • Apply bag labels and roast dates carefully and precisely.
  • Dispatch orders accurately and on time.
  • Assist in the bagging and grinding of roasted whole bean coffee.
  • Organise packing lists and stock as needed.


Roastery & Workspace


  • Clean and maintain roastery equipment and workspace.
  • Clean roasting accessories (bins, white bins, etc.) and flag these tasks to other production staff when needed.
  • Assist with cleaning the production warehouse and lab area.
  • Support the general delivery and handling of green coffee.
  • Provide help to less experienced team members where needed.


Barista & Customer Experience


  • Make hot drinks for takeaway customers to the highest quality standard.
  • Dial in grinders and ensure recipes stay on point throughout the day.
  • Look after retail orders for takeaway customers.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the dispensary, machine, and grinder cleaning.
  • Order and monitor dispensary stock.
  • Keep the customer-facing work area well presented.


Collaboration & Support


  • Participate in team and staff meetings.
  • Work closely with the Roastery Manager to keep production priorities aligned Support colleagues across the roastery with day-to-day tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Additional Responsibilities


  • Work at events as needed.
  • Use company vehicles where qualified to do so.
  • Bring good latte art and a genuine passion for specialty coffee to the counter every day.



Essential Skills and Knowledge:


Required


  • At least one year's experience working as a barista in a specialty coffee environment.
  • Confidence dialling in grinders to specialty standards, with good latte art.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency with email, spreadsheets, and other everyday computer applications.
  • Reliable, self-sufficient, and a strong problem solver.
  • Attention to detail and a good working knowledge of specialty coffee.
  • Friendly, inviting manner with customers and confident talking coffee.


Desirable


  • Prior production or roastery experience.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes in a coffee production setting.
  • Full drivers licence preferred.
