Previously enjoyed as Mexico Santa Fé in our wholebean format, this delightful coffee is now available in convenient pod form. Enjoy the same great taste with added ease! Using a Swiss Water Process, the decaffeinated coffee can thus retain its flavour without any chemicals - another win-win!

This coffee comes from four farms in the Poços de Caldas microregion in Sul de Minas, two in Campestre and two in Caldas nearby. These farms are all run by women - Juliana Bernandes, Dulce Franco, Ciomara de Carvalho and Luciane de Fátima - and are the beneficiaries of the Donas Do programme run by SMC, a coffee exporter which we visited in May based in the city of Guaxupé. The Donas Do project aims to promote and support women in leadership positions on farms in Brazil. 

The Swiss Water Process involves soaking the beans in water with dissolved coffee compounds, except for filtered out caffeine. This allows the beans to lose caffeine while keeping their flavour intact, without using any chemicals not naturally found in coffee.
