La Gabriela is the farm where it all started. Catalina’s grandparents lived there all their lives. Her grandmother, Gabriela, was a strong wise woman. When we met Catalina this spring it was clear she was following in her footsteps!

Located 1300-1600 masl the farm covers 26 hectares. It produces mainly Caturra, Castillo and Colombia coffees. It also has its own little “Garden of Eden” where small lots of exotic varieties are grown for experimentation and which has produced some exquisite microlots. It is planted with Java, Pacamara, Red Bourbon, Geisha and Typica.
